Erratum: Fate of the false vacuum: semiclassical theory
In the paragraph following Eq.(3.10),I assert that I have been able to prove that the bounce of minimum action is spherically symmetric.This assertion is false, as is the paper containing the purported proof to which it refers, which has been withdrawn from publication.At this time, to my knowledge, spherical symmetry of the bounce of minimum action remains an unproved assumption.I am indebted to Ian Aff lect for showing me the error of my way.
