Digestive System Tumours
Abstract This chapter discusses digestive system tumours. The following anatomical sites are included in the chapter: oesophagus and oesophagogastric junction (stomach), small intestine (gastrointestinal stromal tumour (GIST)), colon, rectum and anal canal (carcinoid (neuroendocrine) tumours), gall bladder (liver cell carcinoma, intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma), gallbladder, perihilar bile duct; distal extrahepatic bile duct, ampulla of vater and pancreas. For each site, the rules for classification, anatomical subsites and the regional lymph nodes are provided.
