We report the case of a patient with the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and Kaposi's sarcoma who also developed the hemolytic-uremic syndrome.A 33-year-old white homosexual man with the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and disseminated Kaposi's sarcoma since March 1983 had an initial hemoglobin of 10.4 g/dL; platelet count, 158 000/mm3; blood urea nitrogen, 12 mg/dL; and creatinine, 1.3 mg/dL.
